The London 2012 bronze medal winner will be leading the session for 11 to 19 year olds from 10am to 4pm on Wednesday 27 December.

A total of 36 places are available for the day and the session is £40 per person with a sibling discount available. Places can be booked at PerfX Hockey.

City of Wolverhampton Council Cabinet Member for City Environment, Councillor Steve Evans, said: "It's fantastic that we are working with an organisation such as Perfx Hockey to bring events like this to our leisure centres.

"At WV Active we offer a huge variety of sports for Wolverhampton residents to get involved in, and events like this certainly add even more excitement."

As well as competing in the Olympic Games, Sally has 165 caps for Great Britain and England and has taken part in EuroHockey Championships, World League Finals and the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
