WV Active Aldersley, WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams and WV Active Central are holding a variety of sessions for children and young people from Tuesday 25 July to Friday 1 September.

At WV Active Aldersley, children will be able to try out alternative sports such as archery, ultimate frisbee, dodgeball and fencing, as well as taking part in a full week of athletics activities.

WV Active Aldersley also hosts roller discos, bounce parties, toddler sessions and tri-golf during the 6 week break, and is offering cycling basics and balance lessons for younger children and road safety courses for older children who are ready to start riding on the roads.

WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams will be holding free swimming lesson tasters, crash course swimming lessons and parent and toddler and fun float sessions throughout the summer holidays, while WV Active Central has fun float afternoons for families every weekday.

Councillor Steve Evans, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for City Environment, said: "We know that it can be hard to keep children and young people occupied during the long summer holidays, and so our leisure centres are offering a fantastic array of events to keep them active - whatever the weather."
