The FREE event, which is part of the city's Residents Week (1 to 7 April), will take place at Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Lichfield Street, WV1 1DU, between 11am and 3.30pm.

There will be a host of information available on new homes, homes to rent, help to buy and shared ownership schemes, mortgages, over 50s options, home improvements and energy efficiency.

Around 20 exhibitors are confirmed, including Butters John Bee, Connells, David Wilson Homes, Whg, Wrekin Housing Trust, Housing & Care 21, Abbeyfield, L&A Lettings, TSB, RBS, Mortgage Bureau, Complete Advice Services, and Wolverhampton Citizens Advice.

City of Wolverhampton Council's Rent with Confidence, Affordable Warmth, Housing Improvement Service and planning teams will also be on hand.

WV Living, a council owned housing company, is sponsoring the fair and will showcase new plans for 'homes you will love' in Ashmore Park, Bilston and Ettingshall.

There will also be a free prize draw on the day, with 2 £50 high street vouchers up for grabs.

Councillor Peter Bilson, Cabinet Member for City Housing and Assets, said: "If you are looking to find the right home in the City of Wolverhampton, then come along to this free event and speak directly to the people who can help you.

"Supporting residents into housing, jobs, and improving the health and wellbeing of local people are top priorities for the city.

"The Housing Fair is a great addition to our Residents Week offer."
