Shop in the Square has gone from being a pop up shop to become a key part of the Queen Square landscape.

Over 30 entrepreneur makers and artists from around the Black Country sell products at any one time covering an eclectic mix of gifts, crafts, artwork, furniture, food, clothing and jewellery.

The project was the brainchild of the Portas Town Team, but the success of the venture is down to the hard work of project manager Charlotte Clark and a dedicated team of volunteers.

Charlotte said: "The Shop has been a dream come true not just for myself but for all the hardworking micro businesses that would never have a chance to trade in such a good location. Customers are delighted when they find out what we sell and return again and again to see our constantly changing selection of surprises and delights."

A designer maker in her own right, Charlotte selects the traders, trains the volunteers, manages the shop and does the visual merchandising.
