The City of Wolverhampton Council is carrying out a consultation which will help shape sexual healthcare in the city.

It is currently working on Wolverhampton’s Sexual Health Needs Assessment, and is encouraging people to complete a short survey to help understand residents’ attitudes, behaviours and experiences of services.

To take part, please visit Sexual Health Services Consultation by the end of January.

Councillor Jasbir Jaspal, the City of Wolverhampton Council’s Cabinet Member for Adults and Wellbeing, said: “Sexual relationships and sex are a normal part of life and good sexual health is important. Getting the right information and access to support when you need it is key to this.

“We aim to make sure you know how to find the advice and services you need to help you make the right sexual and reproductive choices for you.

“This survey will help us identify people’s understanding and experience of sexual health to support us to develop how we deliver sexual healthcare in Wolverhampton.”

The survey will ask questions about people’s attitudes and experiences of sexual health including getting information about and accessing sexual health, contraception and condom use, pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections and local sexual health services.
