The city attracted more than 10.4 million visitors in 2024 supporting our local economy and jobs. Our new Destination Management Plan for the City, was developed by visitor economy stakeholders, to make Wolverhampton a great place for visitors with our vision to create a vibrant destination and proposition that attracts visitors from near and far, day, evening and night, to enjoy our fantastic offer and celebrate the city’s diversity and heritage.

Our city centre’s evening and nighttime economy is a vital part of Wolverhampton’s identity, providing economic opportunities, cultural vibrancy and social connectivity.
Our Night Vision aims to support this important part of our economy creating an even more vibrant, inclusive and dynamic evening and night-time destination where residents, workers and visitors can thrive. We want a safe, welcoming and diverse environment that fosters economic growth, cultural enrichment and community engagement between 5pm and 5am.
