Before reporting a missed bin, please check you have put your bin out on the right collection day.
We may have missed your bin because:
- It was not out before 7am
- The bin is too heavy
- The bin lid was not closed
- The bin contained contaminated items
If none of these reasons apply to you, please check the conditions below.
All waste service may be affected by bad weather. This includes bulky item collections, household waste recycling centers (HWRC) and kerbside collections. Please check our social media/website for updates.
Please leave your waste and recycling bin at the kerbside. The crew will collect this by the end of that week - if it is safe to do so.
If the crew have reported your bin as contaminated, we are unable to rearrange collection.
You will need to remove the contaminants.
If none of the reasons above apply, please dispose of your waste at either of our two Household Waste Recycling Centre’s (HWRC’s) - the Tip.
- Shaw Road, Bushbury
- Anchor Lane, Lanesfield
If all other bins on your road have been collected, use the form below to report a missed collection.
If your bin is missed contact us. You have two working days to report it. For example, if your bin was missed on Monday then you should report it no later than 5pm on Wednesday. Please do not report bins on the day they are missed, as the bin crew may still be completing collections so it may be picked up later that day.
