Arrange a Bulky Item Collection
Arrange your bulky item collection through My Account. You will need to log in or register before continuing with your booking.
You can also visit any of the One-Stop Shops. Here, you can use the courtesy phone make payment via our automated payment line. You will need a credit or debit card.
All items must be:
- left outside the front of the premises
- kept off the highway/footpath where possible
- ready for collection for 7 am on given collection day
We can help remove items from properties in very exceptional circumstances (disabled etc).
We do not remove items from properties:
- if the customer is not registered disabled
- from flats that do not have lifts
- from a back garden
We are unable to remove the following items on a Bulky collection:
- kitchen units
- bathroom suites
- fence panels
- general fixtures and fittings
If you need one of these items collecting, you will need to request a quote
Bulky household items
The cost for removal is £27 for up to 5 items, we will collect up to 10 items per booking (cost of £54).
The cost for removal is £25 per item, we will collect up to 3 electrical items per booking.
In receipt of benefits?
It is free when on maximum housing and/or council tax benefits. You can have one free collection every 6 weeks.
We will contact you within 10 working days of confirmation of payment to arrange a collection date.
When removing asbestos from your home, you can buy specialist asbestos bags from us. We will then collect and dispose of the material at a licensed facility.
