What are the conditions of the permit?

There is currently no provision in legislation for permit conditions.

How much will it cost?

There is no fee charged for a street collection permit.

How do I apply?

How long will it take you to process my application?

We will acknowledge receipt of your application within 5 working days. We will then process your application and tell you the outcome within 12 weeks. If you do not supply the correct information and fee, your application will be rejected.

Will tacit consent apply?

Yes. This means that you will be able to act as though your application is granted if you have not heard from us by the end of the target completion period.

Will my location be inspected or assessed?

No. Your location will not be inspected or assessed as part of your application, however, we will make checks to see if the location, dates and time is available and suitable.

Further checks may be made when you are carrying out your collection to ensure that you are complying with the conditions of the permit.
