You can request copies of certificates if a birth, marriage or death was registered in Wolverhampton from 1837 to the present day.

Costs

  • £11 to include 2nd class standard postage
  • £12 to include 1st class standard postage
  • £13 to include international 1st class standard postage
  • £35 for priority service – telephony service only via 01902 555777, certificate can be collected from Business Reception at the civic centre within a couple of hours of payment being made or we can post first class (if ordered after 12 noon the certificate will be posted next working day)

 
All standard certificate applications are subject to a 15 working days turnaround time, once you have submitted your online application form we will aim to telephone you within 5 days to take the appropriate payment from your debit/credit card.
 
All certificate orders incur a £5 processing fee in addition to the above fees, regardless of how may certificates you order.
