Standard certificates
All standard certificate applications are subject to a 15 working days turnaround once you have submitted your online application and payment.
Please note that where the passing of a loved one has proceeded to an inquest with the coroner, the register officer who will register from the inquest will contact you in the first instance to support you with payment and issuing death certificates. If they have been unable to make contact, if you apply though the website you do not need to pay the priority fee – please state in additional details that the certificates are with regards to an inquest.
