The Mayor of Wolverhampton's first vintage tea party last year was a sell-out and it's back by popular demand.

Mayor Councillor Milkinder Jaspal is hosting the event on Friday 28 March, 2014, and promises afternoon tea and entertainment from 1940s vocalist Laura Bill.

All proceeds will go to his chosen charities, Guide Dogs, St Peter's Collegiate Church and the Black Country branch of the MS Society.

Mayor Councillor Jaspal said: "This vintage tea party was a huge success last year, and we're hoping this year's event will prove equally popular.

"It promises to be a nostalgic event and I'm hoping will be able to raise hundreds of pounds for 3 very good causes."

Tickets are £6 per person available from the Mayor's Office by calling 01902 554090 or e-mailing mayoral@wolverhampton.gov.uk
