There is plenty of variety on offer. Hear stories steeped in Wolverhampton and Black Country history, such as 'Evolution of Wednesfield from the 1950s to the Modern Day' and 'Real Life Stories: Memories of the Black Country'.
Football enthusiasts will be able to meet 'Wolves - on our way back' authors, Tim Spiers and Nathan Judah, and take part in a Q&A on the club's Championship winning season.
The Agatha Christie exhibition launch, with afternoon tea, will be taking place at Central Library followed by Stewart Lee at Wolverhampton Art Gallery for King Kong & the Nightingales.
A highlight of the literature festival is Strictly Come Dancing star and politician, Ann Widdecombe, who will be hosting 'Strictly Ann' at Wolverhampton Art Gallery and sharing stories of her Strictly journey, time at Westminster and her TV appearances. The gallery will also be welcoming Alan Johnson one of the most popular politicians of recent times and now a best selling author.
TV star, Kim Woodburn, will be joining Alex Belfield for a Q&A, as well as a meet and greet, and will be speaking about her time on TV shows How Clean is Your House, Celebrity Big Brother and I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of here!
City of Wolverhampton Council Cabinet Member for City Economy, Councillor John Reynolds, said: "The line up for this year's literature festival is outstanding and I can't thank the team enough for pulling this together.
"The talks and readings that are available include local heritage knowledge, author readings, and writing groups for those budding authors.'
People can also indulge in the Wolf Writers Hub, a Q&A session with Joanne Toye, and see the returning Peter Rhodes.
