Marcia Reid has recently taken over the reins of the catering outlet at the Bromley Street centre and the Flavour of Paradise Café is proving hugely popular with customers.

It offers a wide variety of main meals, breakfasts, jacket potatoes and sandwiches, as well as vegetarian and children's menus.

Councillor Elias Mattu, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for Leisure and Communities, said: "The Flavour of Paradise Café brings a new dimension to the facilities on offer at Blakenhall Community and Healthy Living Centre.

"I'm delighted for Marcia and her team; the café is proving very popular and visitor numbers at Blakenhall are increasing still further as a result."

Gurbax Kaur, a mental health services manager based at the centre, said: "I think the food here is fantastic and the cafe really brings the building alive as a social hub and meeting place for people of all ages and cultures."
