It's week 2 of the school holidays for most of us, and the Summer Squad has loads of activities to keep your kids occupied.

Among the many highlights this week: Beaky Masks at Wolverhampton Art Gallery today (ages 4 to 12), Clay Creatives on Wednesday (ages 13 to 21), Nesting Clay Birds on Thursday (ages 4 to 12) and Peg Doll Butterflies on Friday (ages 4 to 12); Junk Art and Kite Making at Wildside Activity Centre on Wednesday and Thursday (ages 4 to 12); a Film Making course at Bilston Methodist Church for 10 to 16 year olds as well as loads of Summer Reading Challenge events including story and craft sessions across Wolverhampton's libraries.

Outdoor events include Play in the Park sessions (ages 5+) at Long Knowle Park and Wednesfield Park today, Patshull Park and Beldrade Rec tomorrow, Northwood Park and Poet’s Corner Park on Wednesday, and Howlands Park and Dovecote Park on Thursday; a Boat Trip at Wildside Activity Centre today (all ages), as well as the Great Escape and Pond Dipping tomorrow, Den Building and Fire Lighting on Wednesday (ages 4 to 11) and canoeing (10+) on Friday.

There's Family Fun in the Park with Wolves FC and WV Active every Monday at West Park, every Tuesday at East Park and Northwood Park, every Wednesday at Heath Town Park and Hickman Park, every Thursday at Prouds Lane Playing Fields, and Fridays at Wednesfield Park and Phoenix Park; and Junior Kickers with Wolves Foundation (ages 6 to 13).

Our WV Active leisure centres offer activities each week day, including Fun Float Sessions (all ages) at Bilston-Bert Williams and Central, Youth Gym (ages 14 to 15) Bilston-Bert Williams and Aldersley, Junior Play (ages 8 to 15) at Aldersley and Disney Family Swim Sessions at Central (Tuesdays and Fridays only).

Also continuing this week are The Way's Summer Club for 8 to 12 year olds, the Molineux Holiday Club At Wolfie's Den, and the Schools Out Holiday Club and Sports Club at the Kingswood Trust - plus much, much more. Check out Summer Squad 2019 for more details - and have fun!
