The leisure centre is hosting new family friendly roller skating sessions every Friday night from 25 September, 2015 - and all ages and abilities are welcome.

Councillor Steve Evans, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for City Environment, said: "The last time Wolverhampton had regular roller skating sessions was around 30 years ago, so we're delighted to be offering this new weekly session at WV Active Aldersley.

"Roller skating is not only an excellent form of exercise, but also one that people of all ages and abilities can have a go at. There will also be great music playing at these new sessions which will guarantee a fun packed evening."

The roller skating sessions will be held every Friday night from 6.30pm to 8pm and cost £5 per person, including hire of roller skates.

To celebrate the launch, WV Active Aldersley will be holding free spin express classes at 6.45pm and 7.15pm on Friday 25 September with spaces available on a first come, first served basis.

For more information on the roller skating sessions, please call the organisers, Jerry's Mobile Roller Skating, on 01902 762224.
