Councillor Milkinder Jaspal has teamed up with The Fashion Show Company for the Summer Inspirations Women's Fashion Show on Thursday 8 May, 2014.

A team of professional models will showcase trends from Primrose Hill in Shifnal and Aristocats of Bridgnorth, while Wolverhampton's very own Gok Wan, Libby Walton of Styling You, will be on hand to offer styling tips and advice.

Away from the catwalk, Sugar Budz will demonstrate what happens when you add a little bit of imagination to cake decorating.

Mayor Councillor Jaspal said: "Summer is just around the corner and so now is a good time to think about refreshing your wardrobe.

"We've teamed up with The Fashion Show Company to deliver a full fashion experience - a little bit of London Fashion Week in the Mayor's Parlour.

"It should be a great event, and we'll also be raising plenty of money for my 3 chosen charities, Guide Dogs, St Peter's Collegiate Church and the Black Country branch of the MS Society."

Tickets are priced at £15 per person, including a glass of bubbly and light refreshments, and must be booked in advance. For more information please call the Mayor's Office on 01902 554090 or e-mail mayoral@wolverhampton.gov.uk.
