City of Wolverhampton’s annual bonfire and fireworks night will return for its fifth year at Wolverhampton Racecourse on Saturday 2 November.

The fun filled, family friendly evening will include an exciting fun fair suitable for all ages, a variety of food outlets and bars, music and entertainment from event sponsors, The Grand Theatre.

The free car park will open at 4pm with event gates opening at 5pm.

Families can join in the fun from 6.30pm when the children’s firework display will begin.

The bonfire will be lit one hour later at 7.30pm and the main firework display will take place at 8.30pm - guaranteed to be a spectacular sight.

Councillor Harman Banger, Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: “The bonfire and fireworks event has been hugely successful at the racecourse these past 4 years and this year should be no exception with such a fabulous display lined up again.

“There is plenty on offer for all of the family – it’s great entertainment at a great venue.”

Advance tickets for the bonfire and fireworks display are £6 adults, £4 children (aged 3 to 16), and under 3s free. They are available online at Wolverhampton Racecourse or from the racecourse’s Holiday Inn Reception, Gorsebrook Road, WV6 0PE.

Prices on the gate, on the night of the event will be £7 adults, £5 children (aged 3 to 16), and under 3s free.
