WV Active is putting on a jam packed schedule of activities for children of all ages this half term.

The City of Wolverhampton Council's 3 leisure centres - WV Active Aldersley, WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams and WV Active Central - will be holding a variety of sessions from Monday 19 to Friday 23 February.

WV Active Aldersley is offering activities for all ages, including a toddlers' Space Party, Kids Club for 5 to 11 year olds and a Youth Gym for teenagers. It also has popular sports including football, tennis and badminton as well as Premier Sport sessions offering fencing, archery, ultimate frisbee, dodgeball and tag rugby, while for those looking for something a little different, there's a roller disco.

WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams will be opening up the studio pool for crash course swimming lessons, parent and toddler sessions and fun floats sessions for families.

WV Active Central will have more swimming activities with fun float sessions throughout the week for families with children of all ages, along with taster swimming lessons.

Councillor Steve Evans, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for City Environment, said: "Our WV Active leisure centres have plenty to keep your children entertained over the half term holidays. Places on some sessions are limited, so I would urge parents to book early to avoid disappointment."
