There are a host of exciting activities on offer to young people at the city's WV Active leisure centres over the Easter holidays.

WV Active Aldersley, WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams and WV Active Central are running a varied programme of activities for children and young people aged up to 17 from Monday 30 March until Friday 10 April, 2015.

WV Active Aldersley is offering tennis, badminton, table tennis, football and special youth gym sessions, while Wolverhampton and Bilston Athletics Club is running a week long athletics programme starting on Monday 6 April. Aldersley will also be hosting Bikeability sessions at level 1, 2 and 3.

Meanwhile, young people can make a splash at WV Active Central with swimming lessons, family float sessions, snorkelling and gym and swim sessions, in which young people can have a workout followed by time in the pool.

WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams also has a variety of special activities in the pool, including swimming lessons, family float sessions and parent and toddler sessions.

Councillor Elias Mattu, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for Leisure and Communities, said: "We've got plenty of fantastic activities and events planned at our leisure centres over the Easter holidays.

"With everything from tennis to athletics, as well as plenty going on in the pools at WV Active Central and WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams, there's sure to be something for everyone."
