"It's understandable that some business owners may find food safety regulations difficult to understand, especially when balancing these needs with trying to operate a successful business.

"To help businesses achieve high food hygiene ratings, the Council's Food Safety team has launched a bespoke consultancy service, which gives business owners access to experienced and qualified food safety experts who can support businesses to achieve the best food hygiene rating possible.

"I encourage anyone who owns or is thinking about setting up a food business to come along to the launch and see what's on offer."
