Young people can get in the festive spirit with a special Christmas pantomime performance

Chaplins Pantos will be performing the children's classic Cinderella at the Bob Jones Community Hub, Bromley Street, on Saturday (1 December) at 3pm.

This year, the family favourite will see an extra special twist. The performance uses Cinderella's story to encourage emotional resilience in classic pantomime style.

Tickets are £5 and are available from Bob Jones Community Hub. The performance is free for children in care.

Councillor John Reynolds, Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: "This is the perfect way to get in the festive mood, and I'd encourage everyone to get their tickets now to avoid disappointment."

The show is being presented in partnership with Headstart Wolverhampton, the pioneering programme to improve the emotional mental health and wellbeing of young people aged 10 to 16.

Councillor Paul Sweet, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: "What better way to get ready for Christmas than with a Christmas pantomime? Cinderella is the perfect story to help our children and young people to build emotional resilience."
