Businesses are being urged to have their say in a survey to inform City of Wolverhampton Council’s new business support programme.

The council is keen to understand in more detail the sort of support measures that will be of most help in overcoming the current economic challenges and enable them to thrive in the future.

Businesses of all types and sizes from Wolverhampton’s diverse business sector are invited to participate, with the survey running until Tuesday 28 February, 2023.

To take part in the survey please visit City of Wolverhampton Council Business Survey.

The council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for City Economy, Councillor Stephen Simkins, said: “The council’s business support services provide vital help and advice to businesses in these challenging times.

“We appreciate that getting the right advice and support is key to business success and, with our partners, it is vital we help businesses access the tools they need.

“The council is currently reviewing its business support programme in conjunction with key government departments, regional partners and local stakeholders.

“Through this survey we want to hear the views of as many Wolverhampton businesses as possible – no matter how small or big.

“Having a thriving economy is a key objective for the city and a new business support programme will be announced later in the year.”

The findings of the survey will be available at City of Wolverhampton Council from April and shared widely with local business networks. Information about the council’s new package of business support will be announced in spring.
