Weight loss programmes begin again at the City of Wolverhampton Council's WV Active Aldersley and WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams leisure centres next month.

Active Change is an easy to follow programme which covers the basics of nutrition and healthy eating, combined with fitness and exercise.

Each weekly session will last for 90 minutes and will include a weigh in, interactive discussion, tasks around nutrition and an optional 30 minute exercise session.

Councillor Steve Evans, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for City Environment, said: "The Active Change sessions combine healthy eating with exercise and are just one of a wide range of fitness programmes offered at WV Active Aldersley, WV Active Bilston Bert-Williams and WV Active Central."

Active Change courses begin on Monday 10 September from 7pm to 8.30pm at WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams and Wednesday 12 September from 7pm to 8.30pm at WV Active Aldersley. The 8 week programme costs a total of £30 for members and £40 for non members. Visit Type=links;Linkid=4852;Title=WV Active;Target=_blank; for more information or call 01902 551010.
