Apply for a premises licence including fees, information and application forms.

To provide late-night refreshment, regulated entertainment or to sell alcohol, you must apply to us for a premises licence.

On submission of your application, you will be required to present a copy of a document showing your right to work permission in the UK. If you are unable to provide the required documentation, a licence will not be granted. For more information please visit Immigration Act 2016.

If applying by post or in person you can pay by cheque/postal order made payable to City of Wolverhampton Council, card or cash at the Civic Centre Licensing Department.

Download and complete the Premises License Application Form and DPS Consent Form (Optional) found in the downloads section

Return your application form to:

Licensing Services, City of Wolverhampton Council, Civic Centre, St Peters Square, Wolverhampton, WV1 1SH.

How long will my application take?

We will acknowledge receipt of your application within 5 working days.

We will then process your application and tell you the outcome within 28 days, providing there are no representations.

If you do not supply the correct information, documents or fee, your application will be rejected.
