The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated practitioner (minimum Level 2) to work within our school to provide targeted 1:1 support for children with SEND, particularly SEMH.

The role will include:

  • working with staff and SENCO to establish appropriate learning support
  • planning and implementing agreed teaching activities
  • monitoring and evaluating pupils’ responses to learning activities through observational assessments and completing records of achievement/progress against pre-determined learning objectives
  • providing objective and accurate regular feedback on pupils’ achievement, progress, problems, etc.

Please note that as this position is subject to SEND additional funding, the post will be a fixed term position and reviewed on a regular basis.

Applicants must hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
