Housing land enquiry
The Council own a lot of land on or around council housing estates. Any housing land enquiry will follow our corporate land disposal process. This makes sure the proposed usage is acceptable to the Council, including the following departments:
- Planning Authority
- Highways Authority
- Legal Services
Please note, these departments may impose restrictions and conditions to proceed with the sale.
Cost
Initial enquiries have a fee of £180 for consultation between the departments mentioned above. This fee is non-refundable.
Proceeding with a land purchase will have additional surveyor and legal costs. These are payable by the purchaser.
