Due to the volume of referrals received to The Good Night Project, delivery is taking significantly longer than normal.

The Good Night Project is a community led partnership aiming to reduce bed poverty and ensure everyone in Wolverhampton has a good nights sleep in a suitable bed.

The Good Night Project logo

“Bed poverty” is a term used to describe a situation where a person does not have access to a bed and a situation in which a household does not have enough income to afford necessary items.

Getting a good nights sleep is essential to health and wellbeing. It is as essential to our bodies as eating, drinking and breathing, and is vital for maintaining good mental and physical health. Sleeping helps to repair and restore our brains, not just our bodies. (Mental health.org.uk)

Working together with ACCI and The Wolves Foundation, there may be support available to help meet the needs of your household in getting the item(s) you require to get a good night’s sleep.

This includes bed bases, mattresses and bedding. Some items will be new, but some will be pre-loved items which have been recycled and refurbished by ACCI.

Apply

If you feel you require support, please complete the Self Referral application. This service is for Wolverhampton residents only, and is a one-time use service.

If you are working with or supporting someone who requires assistance from the project, please complete the Referral application.

Once completed a member of the team will be in touch to discuss your request further.

All applications will be followed up with a telephone call and/or a home visit where we may ask for further evidence. Subject to approval, we aim to deliver the items within 21 days.

If you have already applied, please do not re-apply as this could cause a delay on your original application.

Self referral application

Referral application form

Any information submitted as part of a referral or self-referral application will be shared with Wolves Foundation and/or ACCI, who will use it to consider the support request, to contact the relevant individual to obtain more information (if necessary) and, if the support request is successful, to facilitate delivery of the item(s). They will each process the personal data shared with them in accordance with their own privacy policies (Wolves Foundation Privacy Policy and ACCI Privacy Policy). By submitting an application form, you confirm that you consent to the data entered being used and shared in this way – if you do not consent to this, you should not submit the information.

If you are submitting an application on behalf of another person (i.e. by completing a referral application) then, by submitting the form, you also confirm that you have the consent of that person to do so and for that data to be shared with Wolves Foundation and/or ACCI as described above. If this is not the case, you should not submit the application form.
