The Equality Team provides advice, support and guidance in relation to equalities for all. The aim is to ensure that the Council is meeting its statutory responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010, in providing fair and accessible services for everyone in terms of service planning and delivery. The Team works with staff across the council and with partners to ensure the council delivers inclusive services that meet the needs of our diverse communities.
