Governors are one of the largest volunteer forces in the country, and in Wolverhampton alone, we need over 1200 School Governors to help raise school standards.
As a School Governor, you will be required to attend full Governing Board meetings plus additional committee meetings, school visits and training sessions. Wolverhampton Council provides a fully subsidised training programme throughout the school year.
If your child is having difficulty getting to school, they may be entitled to a free bus pass.
You may be able to claim benefits-related Free School Meals (FSM) for your child/ren if you meet the Government's eligibility criteria.
We're committed to giving you the best service we can but sometimes circumstances arise which prevent this from happening.
