There are 3 Area Action Plans being prepared in Wolverhampton for parts of the city that will be subject to significant change up to 2026.

The Area Action Plans will guide the transformation of these areas and provide detailed policies and proposals to deliver the Black Country Core Strategy at a local level. The area action plans will, when adopted, form part of the Development Plan for Wolverhampton, and will replace some allocations and policies in the Unitary Development Plan.
