City businesses in Wolverhampton are invited to take part in WV Active's It's a Knockout Teamwork Challenge - back for a second year as part of the city's annual Business Week.

Teams of 4 people are required to compete in the free corporate event against other organisations from across the city to see who can clock the fastest time.

Each team will have an hour to tackle a pillow bash game, unclimbable ladder, Total Wipeout style big red balls obstacle and an inflatable volleyball game.

The winning team members will each receive a month's Platinum Membership to use at WV Active leisure centres and a café voucher.

The event will take place on Wednesday 27 September, at WV Active Aldersley, from 12pm to 4pm, with timeslots available every hour.

WV Active's Membership Team Leader, Kerry Williams, who is organising the event, said: "Last year's event was a huge success and businesses from all over the city submitted teams.

"It's a great exercise for businesses to take part in as it promotes teamwork, while also having fun and keeping active.

"We decided to hold the event at WV Active Aldersley to promote the facilities at the venue to businesses from across the city, showing that it can be used for a wide range of activities and events."

If you would like more information about the It's a Knockout event or want to submit a team, contact WV Active's membership team at wvactive@wolverhampton.gov.uk by Friday 15 September, 2017.
