The Digital Learning Awards - The Digis - took place at the Grand Theatre on Monday (6 July, 2015) and celebrated the achievements of learners and teachers in film and media.
More than 600 entries were submitted for 13 categories by pupils from schools across Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas.
The categories included animation, short film, audio, digital publication, digital artwork, digital music, computer games or programmes and eSafety.
Councillor Claire Darke, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for Education, said: "This was a huge event which yet again highlighted the immense talent we have in our schools.
"We had 59 excellent and deserving winners across all age groups but I know the judges had a tough time selecting them as all the entries were impressive.
"All the students, and their teachers, deserve to be highly commended for their efforts and it was a real pleasure to be part of the event."
She added: "ICT is a very important part of the curriculum and pupils and staff in our schools have access to a range of fantastic software which enables our children to be wonderfully creative, producing animations, artwork, films and podcasts.
"I am extremely delighted to see the hard work of young people and teachers recognised in this way and everyone concerned should feel rightly proud of their efforts."
