The Park Village Employability Scheme will help residents in the area particularly those who have English as a second language or who are struggling to get into training or employment.
It is being launched by North East Neighbourhood Services Team and a drop in session will be held, at Stratton Street Community Centre between 10am and 1pm on Wednesday (27 November) for people to find out more about it.
The scheme will provide a coaching and mentoring programme that will focus on the individual needs of a person to ensure they get the right training or job support they require.
Councillor Elias Mattu, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for Leisure and Communities, said: "This is a new approach to working in the Park Village area where local people will have the opportunity for one to one support to meet their training and employment goals.
"What is unique about this programme is that it focuses on the needs of each individual and will help build people's confidence and motivate them to achieve their goals and find work.
"I would like to encourage as many people as possible to attend the drop in session this Wednesday and wish everyone every success with their future prospects."
Sue Lindup, Constituency Manager, North East, Neighbourhood Services Team, said: "Jobs, skill and training is a priority for residents in the Park Village area and this project will try to address this issue by providing specialist support."
