Anyone wanting to enjoy afternoon tea while listening to some soothing piano music should look no further than a special charity event being hosted by the Mayor of Wolverhampton shortly.

Pianist Adam Sheen will be performing in the Mayoral Suite on Tuesday 17 September, 2013, with proceeds going to the Mayor's 3 chosen charities - Guide Dogs, St Peter's Collegiate Church and the MS Society (Black Country Branch). Afternoon tea, including a delicious selection of cakes and sandwiches, will also be served, while there will be a raffle with some great prizes up for grabs.

Adam has played piano since he was six and a half years old. A former member of the Yamaha Music School, he has not only enjoyed numerous performances as a soloist, but also as an accompanist with various bands and orchestras.

Mayor of Wolverhampton Councillor Milkinder Jaspal said: "This promises to be a delightful afternoon and hopefully one that will raise some much needed funds for my 3 chosen charities."

The event takes place from 2.15pm and tickets, priced £7.50 per person, are available now from the Mayor's Office on 01902 554090.
