Real ale lovers will be raising their glasses for the 39th Wolverhampton Beer and Cider Festival, which takes place at the Wulfrun Hall next week.

Organised by CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, and Wolverhampton City Council, it promises a wide selection of cask ales, ciders and perries and international bottled beers.

The festival is commemorating the Battle of Tettenhall in 910AD, and there will be live music on the Friday evening, and a family room and charity tombola throughout.

The 39th Wolverhampton Beer and Cider Festival takes place at the Wulfrun Hall between Thursday 12 June and Saturday 14 June, 2014.

Sessions are held on Thursday from 5pm to 11pm (admission £3), Friday from 12pm to 5pm (admission free) and 5pm to 11pm (admission £5) and Saturday from 12pm to 11pm (admission free). Card carrying CAMRA members receive £1 off beer tokens on Thursday and Friday evenings.
