The event was organised by Wolverhampton's Education Library Service and is part of a national tour to mark the publication of Coco Caramel, Cathy's latest title in the Chocolate Box Girls series published by Puffin books.

It took place at Colton Hills School, with young people from Goldthorn Park Primary, Graiseley Primary, St Peter's Collegiate, Tettenhall College, Warstones Primary, Heath Park, Moreton and Wednesfield High schools in Wolverhampton and Vernon Lodge Preparatory School in Staffordshire also invited.
