The Mayor of Wolverhampton is encouraging people to put their little grey cells to the test when he hosts a special quiz night in aid of charity later this month.

The general knowledge quiz will take place in the Mayoral Suite at the Civic Centre on Thursday 27 November, 2014, with all proceeds going to Mayor Councillor Mike Heap's chosen charities, Breast Care Nurses Trust Fund, Wolverhampton Interfaith and Regeneration Network and Mencap Wolverhampton Branch.

More than 20 teams are expected to take part in this ever popular event, with prizes on offer for the teams finishing first, second and third and also for the team finishing in last place. Snacks will be available, and competitors are invited to bring a bottle.

Mayor Councillor Heap said: "This event is a great chance for brainboxes to raise money for three very good causes - and enjoy a fantastic night out at the same time."

Places are now available for teams of up to four people, priced £20 per team. Places must be reserved in advance - please contact the Mayor's Parlour on 01902 554090 or email themayor@wolverhampton.gov.uk for more details.
