People will be able to remember loved ones during one of Bushbury Crematorium's annual Christmas Memorial services.

Two ceremonies will be held on Sunday 8 December starting at 1pm and then 2.30pm, which aim to bring comfort to people who have lost someone dear to them.

The services will be led by members of the New Cross Hospital Chaplaincy with hymns and readings. There also will be light refreshments available after each Service.

Visitors will also be able to light a candle and attach a personal message for a family member or friend onto the Christmas tree in the crematorium's West Chapel.

Councillor John Reynolds, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for City Services, said: "These poignant services give people the chance to remember loved ones at this special time.

"We welcome anyone who wishes to commemorate a family member or friend that they have lost to attend one of these services."

The services are free, though tickets, which are available now, must be reserved in advance. For more information, please call Bushbury Crematorium on 01902 556070.
