The free night out, which takes place tomorrow (Friday 10 July, 2015), marks the end of the Lichfield Street gallery's Pop in Space: We Choose To Go To The Moon exhibition and features VJ'ing - visual DJing featuring short films made by ArtForum Gold members - and well as space-themed music.
People looking for a fun night out are encouraged to dress up in line with the space theme, with a top prize up for grabs from Forbidden Planet.
The disco is aimed at 14 to 25 year olds and has been organised by young people from ArtForum Gold, Wolverhampton Art Gallery's youth scheme.
ArtForum encourages creative young people to pursue their artistic talents as well as learning about artists, galleries and curating and is part of the Arts Award accredited programme.
The exhibition Pop in Space featured the work of Pop Art movement artists and the space race during the Cold War. It highlighted the rivalry between the Soviet Union and the United States during the mid 1960s to the early 1970s. It will be on display until next Saturday 18 July, 2015.
Councillor John Reynolds, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: "We want more young people to make the most of our wonderful art gallery and it's great that we have opened it up for this kind of event where music, visual DJ'ing and the Pop Art exhibition all come together."
