Park rangers will be introducing people to the insects that come to life when the sun goes down at the Smestow Valley Local Nature Reserve tomorrow (Friday 2 August, 2013).

The popular beauty spot is hosting a Moth Night from 9pm til late, giving visitors the chance to catch and identify moths which reside in the valley, which may include such varieties as the Peppered Moth, Common Emerald, Small Elephant Hawk Moth and Large Yellow Underwing Moth.

Places are free and those taking part should bring a torch. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, please call 01902 552351.
