With Christmas fast approaching, the Mayor of Wolverhampton is inviting people to get into the festive spirit at a charity concert featuring the Marston Singers.

The Wolverhampton based mixed voice choir, which was formed in 1961, will perform a selection of songs from the shows and a few festive tunes.

The concert takes place in the Mayor's Parlour on Thursday 28 November, 2013, from 7.30pm, and all proceeds will go to Mayor Councillor Milkinder Jaspal's 3 chosen charities, Guide Dogs, St Peter's Collegiate Church and the Black Country Branch of the MS Society.

Mayor Councillor Jaspal said: "The Marston Singers are an excellent choir and, with all the money going towards 3 very good causes, this promises to be a real feel good event."

Tickets cost £5 per person, including mince pies and mulled wine, and are available now from the Mayor's Office on 01902 554090.
