After a popular programme of summer events, HeadStart Wolverhampton is continuing to offer an exciting programme of free activities in the coming months.

Working alongside Gazebo Theatre, the WV10 Consortium and YMCA Black Country, a wide range of fun and educational activities are on offer to young people and their parents or carers, designed to support good emotional mental health and wellbeing.

The free, fun activities which help boost confidence, encourage teamwork and develop new skills are open to children and young people aged between 10 to 16 who live in the four Headstart areas – Low Hill, The Scotlands and Bushbury South; Springfield, Heath Town, Old Heath and Eastfield; All Saints, Blakenhall, Parkfields and Ettingshall, as well as Bilston East.

Councillor John Reynolds, the City of Wolverhampton Council’s Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: “These activities are a great way to ensure that the city’s youngsters can keep themselves occupied whilst having fun and learning vital life skills at the same time.”
