Bilston Craft Gallery is hosting an afternoon of Halloween fun and free craft activities for young people on Wednesday (30 October) from 2pm to 5pm - as well as coming face to face with some creepy creatures.

Children can have a go at making a scary Halloween badge, a terrible tangerine witch or a spooky snake mobile. They can also have their face painted and complete the exhibition trail to win a goody bag.

And anyone who is brave enough can get up close and personal to snakes, bugs and frogs with Animal Mania.

Meanwhile, very young visitors aged from 0 to 7 can discover slime, gloop and gunk in the popular Craftplay session running from 2pm to 4pm.

The event is free, apart from face painting for which there is a £1 charge, and young people are encouraged to come in their scariest fancy dress costumes.
