The popular weekly sessions at WV Active Aldersley will have a spooky makeover on Friday (30 October, 2015) with participants invited to don fancy dress for the Halloween party.

Councillor Steve Evans, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for City Environment, said: "The weekly roller skating sessions are huge fun, and this Halloween themed party will be no exception."

The roller skating sessions launched last month, and have proved massively popular, so much so that all 3 halls at WV Active Aldersley will be opened up for the first time for Friday's event.

Regular sessions take place every Friday from 6pm to 8pm and cost £4 per person. Roller skates are available for hire for £1 a pair, though people can bring their own subject to an inspection to ensure they are in good working order.

People can wear fancy dress to this week's Halloween special if they wish, though please note that masks will not be allowed.
