It has undergone a transformation as part of the ongoing improvement works to the city's popular Lichfield Street gallery.

The art work has returned from specialist storage and is back on display.

Councillor John Reynolds, City of Wolverhampton Council Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: "The improvements will enhance the visitor experience and allow the room to be used to its full potential. We hope people enjoy the new look for what is one of the jewels in the gallery's crown."

The improvements include new carpet, wallpaper, lighting and furnishings kept within the Georgian theme.

The PA system and Wi-Fi connectivity has also been improved.
