Carers - and the people they look after - are being encouraged to take advantage of free training sessions to boost their IT skills.

Access to Business is offering introductory sessions covering a variety of issues, including browsing the internet, sending and receiving emails and using online services.

The 3 hour course takes place at Access to Business' Training Centre, 81 Tempest Street, Wolverhampton, with sessions on Thursday 19 November, Friday 20 November, Thursday 26 November and Friday 27 November. They take place from 9.30am to 12.30pm and again from 1pm to 4pm.

Places are limited and must be reserved in advance by calling Access to Business on 01902 572397.

Councillor Elias Mattu, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for Adults, said: "This is a great opportunity for carers - as well as the people they care for - to boost their IT skills, find out more about using the internet and emails, and making transactions online."
