There will be spooky goings on and a pumpkin parade for youngsters and their families at Hickman Park, Bilston, on Saturday 29 October.
And for the second year running the city's annual bonfire and fireworks night is being held at Wolverhampton Racecourse on Saturday 5 November.
Both events are backed by Signal 107 with entertainment from Dicky Dodd and his team.
Councillor John Reynolds, City of Wolverhampton Council Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: "Both these weekend evenings are great family fun and promise spectacular firework displays.
"We are pleased to hold the city bonfire at the racecourse again this year and to host a Halloween event at Hickman Park too."
People are encouraged to dress up as ghouls, ghosts and witches and take along their pumpkins to the Halloween night at Hickman Park.
A dozen cauldrons will be lit before an impressive firework display wows the crowd.
The best fancy dress will win a prize with categories for under 8s, under 16s and best adults.
Halloween at Hickman Park starts at 6pm with a special fireworks show for children at 7pm, lighting cauldrons at 7.30pm, and the main fireworks display at 8.30pm.
Advanced tickets for Halloween at Hickman Park are priced £3.50 adults and £2 children, and are available from the Civic Hall box office (based at Wolverhampton Art Gallery) or by visiting Type=links;Linkid=1949;Title=wolvescivic;Target=_blank;. On the night tickets cost £4.50 adults and £3 children.
Wolverhampton Bonfire and Fireworks Night is back at the racecourse this year with free parking for visitors and discounted advance purchase ticket prices.
The night kicks off with a firework show for children at 7pm, followed by Wolverhampton Mayor, Councillor Barry Findlay, lighting the bonfire at 7.30pm, with a full fireworks display from 8.30pm.
Gates open at the racecourse at 5pm to give people lots of time to make the most of the food, bar and trade stalls as well as the fairground. There will be numerous food outlets, bars and trade stalls around the site as well as lots of popular fairground attractions.

They cost £4 adults and £2 children in advance, or £5 adults and £3 children on the gate.
