A host of FREE tours are on offer as part of the Enjoy Wolverhampton 'Visit the City' programme from Friday 30 June to Sunday 16 July.

Join the Banks's Brewery tours this Friday to find out everything you ever wanted to know about Banks's cask ales when you step inside the famous Victorian Park Brewery on Brewery Road in Chapel Ash.

Tours take place at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, and booking is essential. Call 01902 329653 and quote 'Visitor Week'.

On Saturday 1 July, Bantock House Museum and Park are staging tours for all the family during its 'Discover Engineering Family Day'.

The tours will provide an insight into the family, the era and influential people involved in the engineering industry that helped shape the City of Wolverhampton as we know it today.

Tours take place at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm, at the Finchfield Road venue, and booking is essential, call 01902 552055.

Visitors are also being offered the chance to enjoy a behind-the-scenes-tour of Wolverhampton Art Gallery on Thursday 6 July or Friday 7 July, at 2.30pm.

Explore some of the Lichfield Street gallery's hidden treasures in a tour of the permanent collection stores and view objects and artworks that are not always on display to the public.
