People looking for work, apprenticeships or training opportunities - particularly in the health and social care sectors - are invited to a Jobs Fair next week.

Wolverhampton City Council will be one of around 30 employers, agencies and training and support providers, including 10 specialising in health and social care, taking part in the Jobs Fair in Blakenhall on Thursday 12 June, 2014.

Also expected to be involved are Northern Gas Heating, National Express, Job Centre Plus, the City of Wolverhampton College, Aspiring Futures CiC, Moreland Trust, Performance Through People (PTP), Woodford Homecare, Allied Health Care, Archangel Care, KarePlus, Sevacare and the Territorial Army, among others.

They will be highlighting the opportunities available locally at the event, held at The Old School, 73 Dudley Road, from 10am until 2pm.

The Jobs Fair is primarily aimed at people living in Blakenhall, Spring Vale and the surrounding areas but is open to all. It has been organised by the Blakenhall and Spring Vale Local Neighbourhood Partnerships and Blakenhall Action Community Forum and sponsored by Northern Gas Heating.
