The Mayor of Wolverhampton will be encouraging people to put their little grey cells to the test when he hosts a special quiz night in aid of charity next month.

The general knowledge quiz will take place at Linden House, Tettenhall Road, on Thursday 24 October, 2013, with all proceeds going to Mayor Councillor Milkinder Jaspal's chosen charities, Guide Dogs, St Peter's Collegiate Church and the Black Country Branch of the MS Society.

Prizes will be on offer for the best - and worst - performing teams, and tasty meals, including chicken and chips, fish and chips and vegetarian lasagne, can be pre-booked.

Mayor Councillor Jaspal said: "This event is a great chance for brainboxes to raise money for 3 very good causes - and enjoy a fantastic night out at the same time."

Places are now available for teams of up to 4 people, priced £20 per team, while meals can be pre-booked for £6 per person. Places must be reserved in advance - please contact the Mayor's Parlour on 01902 554090 or email themayor@wolverhampton.gov.uk.
